He asked me, “Why do you write?”

I replied – “Because it helps to free the words trapped in the prison of my mind.”

So last week, I gave an interview and this was one of the questions asked by the interviewer.

After the interview ended, I like any overthinker started overthinking about my answers and started overanalyzing the above question.

I was happy with my answer because I had crystal clarity about why I write.

But I also felt that there’s more to the answer and that’s when I started scribbling and this piece came out of it.
