“Why the heck do people follow me?”
See, I told you.
Recently, my follower count has been rising like crazy. As an overthinker, I try to figure out why people follow me.
Is it because they like me?
Is it because they like my posts?
Is it because they like what I write?
Is it because my posts matter to them?
Is it because my posts made them think?
I could list a hundred more reasons, but I guess I’ll never know the correct one. So, I answer myself by saying:
“Someone, somewhere saw something in me and decided to stick around for more.”
And that stops my overthinking.
Building a community is not easy, especially for someone who is an introverted procrastinator.
Yet, I’m doing my best to stick around because that makes all the difference.
